Volunteer at The Ah! Centre
Art builds community — and our volunteers make that possible.
The Arts & Heritage Centre Warkworth is a not-for-profit, community organization led by a volunteer Board of Directors. We are entirely volunteer-run, and we’re always looking for people who want to be part of the creative life of Warkworth.
Right now, our greatest need is simple: Gallery Hosts
When you volunteer with The Ah! Centre, you spend a few hours in the gallery on a Saturday or Sunday. Shifts are just 2 hours.
Before each exhibition opens, volunteers are invited to a special preview and debriefing session with the artist. You’ll learn about their process, their ideas, and the story behind the work. It’s a meaningful way to connect more deeply with the art — and with the people who create it.
Volunteering is also a wonderful way to meet others who care about arts and heritage in our community. The more volunteers we have, the lighter the commitment becomes for everyone.
This is your gallery!
If you’ve been looking for a way to get involved in Warkworth’s arts community, this is it.
